Yogi Bhajan’s vision was to create conscious parents who could raise the leaders of tomorrow – children equipped to face the challenges of the age to come – the Age of Aquarius. His teachings included all members of 3HO community.

In 1997 he founded Miri Piri Academy in Amritsar, India, with the mission to train the leaders of tomorrow with values of integrity and spirituality, combined with a strong sense of self.

From the 6th to 12th grade Miri Piri Academy welcomes anyone willing to grow, excel and learn to face every challenge with grit and grace.

The small size of the school (100 pupils) ensures the students know each other closely and develop a sense of sister and brotherhood that lasts for life.

The school programme is balanced between a classic Cambridge International Examination curriculum (CIE) and yogic studies.

It receives students from around the world, with the current student body representing 19 countries, 10 languages and the major religions of the world.

Many of the students are children of teachers of Kundalini Yoga, but do not necessarily have any knowledge about it prior to coming to the school.

During 11th grade they graduate as Level 1 Kundalini Yoga teachers and in the 12th grade they complete some of the modules of Level 2 Teacher Training.
